Escornalbou extra virgin olive oil
The trademark of oil produced by the Cooperative Riudecanyes Castle named " ESCORNALBOU . " Riudecanyes. In the last century was primarily a farming town, where the vineyard i l'countersink the main agricultural crop.
Due to the mountainous terrain of his term, the lack of access to farms with modern farm machinery, and also due to low profitability, these crops are substituted for the olive.
HISTORY AND TOURISM
Within the district is Riudecanyes Swamp, which supplies drinking water in the city of Reus and irrigation of agricultural crops (mainly before the hazelnut and currently as the olive support irrigation). We also find the Castle Escornalbou , monument first documented in 1153. Both the castle, the center of a wide barony, as the church of San Miguel was the seat of an Augustinian canon until 1574. Later, he went to the Franciscans who remained until 1835. In the first decade of the twentieth century was purchased by Mr. Eduard All restored and rebuilt it freely. There he met an interesting collection of prints, ceramics and objects of all kinds, and a notable library. Currently owned by the Generalitat de Catalunya you can take guided tours.

Extra Virgen Olive Oil Queralt
Together with the company Queralt Tourism, the cooperative has taken AOVE Riudecanyes to Berga. This town renowned for its fine cuisine and the mushrooms were not so far a good oil for bragging about it. Thanks to this agreement from now everyone can enjoy an excellent AOVE QUERALT. The picture as ever was in charge of Mr. Ripley, one of the best creative agencies.
